Your main roles and responsibilities

  • Develop innovative software solutions for an incident-free and efficient rail transport of the future
  • Design specifications and incorporate them into the conception of the software architecture
  • Design sustainable software architectures with a focus on embedded systems and realise your own ideas in innovative R&D projects
  • Document architectures and designs using semi-formal methods
  • Pursue agile development approaches and automate process steps
  • Use modern methods such as test-driven development and continuous integration and consider multidisciplinary topics such as safety and security
  • Contribute your expertise to the team and benefit from the know-how of a global market leader

 

You are just right for this role if

  • you have a solid technical education (university of applied sciences / university) in the field of computer science / software engineering with several years of professional experience
  • SysML and C are nothing new to you
  • you are familiar with programming standards such as MISRA
  • you are open to modern working methods and agile development methods
  • software quality is important to you and you are enthusiastic about technically challenging tasks
  • you find it easy to communicate in both German and English
